This month’s Ipsy Glam Bag was very impressive. I got such a great mixture of some wonderful products. The bag design was like a pastel tie dye print. In my opinion, the design didn’t wow me. It seemed a little cheesy and cheap. It was definitely not my favorite Glam Bag design.
Luxie Beauty Tapered Highlighting Brush: Purple, $24.00 (link is a pink brush which is only color available now)
Purlisse’ Blue Lotus White Tea Tree Mask, $8.00 each (Received Two)
Tarte’s Lipsurgence Lip Creme: Moody $24.00 (Sample Size)
I mentioned how I didn’t like the bag design, but I did say I really liked the products. The polish has to be my favorite. Lately, I have been into the color gray. I feel gray is an all season long color. This gray has a slight purplish color to it. Adesse New York is the brand and I never heard it, but their Gel Effect Polish made application very simple. It took only two coats.
Tarte Cosmetics gave Ipsy sample sizes of the Lipsurgence Lip Sticks. The color is very natural for a pink color. It’s lip formula made my lips stay moist the whole time I had it on. It lasted for a good 7 hours. I drank and ate while wearing it, too.
The Starlooks Liquid Eyeshadow is very glowing. When I started to apply it on my eyelids, the pigments of the color shined and stood out. This is a perfect color for a summer glow look.
I didn’t get to try out two of the products giving to me. That’s the Purisee Face Mask and the Luxie Highlighting Brush. The brush does have very soft bristles. I did have to trim down a few of the bristles sticking out from the tamper of the brush. I just used a face mask the day before and I didn’t want to put one on so quickly. But, it’s probably like all the face masks I have used.
